Jay Hicks, host of The Tragedy Academy Podcast has created a platform to bridge societal divides in a judgement free zone through humor and candor. After his own fair share of traumatic experience in his life journey he is helping us unveil opportunities to see our similarities, uniting us as one.

We bonded over our love for moving through adversity and seeing our obstacles as opportunities for transformation. Our conversation was authentic and from the heart. He created a safe space for me to openly share some of the trauma I experienced as a child and adult. In our conversation, and through shared laughter, I was touched again by the power and beauty of our stories as well as the ebullient soul of the inner child that rests within each of us.
